The SCD 500 has been specially designed for processing thin natural casings. It closes sheep casings, hog casings as well as small diameter beef rings and plastic casings totally securely.

The single-clip machines are operated pneumatically. The closing of the gate gathers the casing before the clip is applied automatically.

With the SCD machine the clip pressure can be adjusted via a click-stop scale individually and reproducibly. In addition, product specific closing speed and pressure can be set with the pressure regulator assembly.
